Health & Safety in the construction industry is a vital component in getting any job done well, on time, and safely. We fully understand and likewise take our obligations very seriously.

We established GBA Contracts with the CHAS accreditation from the outset. We always strive to meet with the highest industry standards, ensuring the safe working of all of our staff and personnel.

All of our employees are provided with full PPE. We also produce method statements and carry out a full set of RAMS specific to each task.

GBA Contracts and subcontractors hold valid CSCS cards and associated NVQ qualifications. Management staff are certified in;

Tool Box Talks

Our standard practice is to present to our team a series of short talks with safety as the key objective: Providing continuous training aimed squarely at reducing the accident and incident rates of the workforce whilst on site is critical, an activity we take very seriously.

We take the view that no matter how long a person has been doing his or her job, continued training is essential to remind them of the safety issues faced daily.

Our Tool Box talks take 10-15 minutes to deliver, which we do about one per week.
